Juneteenth

This special inaugural federal holiday “Juneteenth,” celebrates the liberation of the oppressed. It commemorates the anniversary date of the June 19, 1865, when Union Army general Gordon Granger, proclaimed freedom for slaves in Texas.

In celebration of liberty, and solidarity with the oppressed, then and now, the editors and publishers of Matthew D. Hutcheson’s writings would like to share Chapter 12 of “Something to Think About Book 2,” which will be available to the general public later this month. At that time, the book will be found at lulu.com (www.tinyurl.com/MatthewDHutcheson)

We hope you are greatly blessed by these words.
