Something to Think About Book 1
Thoughts, poetry, and stories written by Matthew D. Hutcheson while he was in prison. Something to Think About Book 1 is a book that comforts and inspires. This book really does give its readers something to think about. Although it is the fewest pages of any of Hutcheson’s books, it packs one of the strongest punches. Visit Lulu.
Something to Think About Book 2
More thoughts, poetry, and stories written by Matthew D. Hutcheson while he was in prison. The second book in a multiple-book series, Something to Think About Book 2 is also a book that comforts and inspires. Like Book 1, this book likewise gives its readers something to think about. A few more pages than Book 1 from a few extra heart-touching stories. Readers say they love books one and two equally but note there are some appealing differences between the two. These are fun and easy reads. Visit Lulu.
Why America is Great
This is a book written by Hutcheson during an uncertain and confusing political time. Some say America can be great once again. Hutcheson says it has always been great and then explains why. The book consists of Hutcheson’s deep insight into politics, history, and philosophy. It also consists of the memorialization of several conversations Hutcheson had with other inmates about highly relevant matters that seem to be on many Americans’ minds these days. This is the book every parent wishes they could give to their high school or college students. This is an inspiring book. If you do not love America right now, you will once you finish this masterpiece. Visit Lulu.
Capitalism vs. Socialism
This book re-tells an interesting experience about Hutcheson teaching a class of other prisoners at the request of prison staff at FCI Terminal Island in California. In this book, Hutcheson takes the class on a journey not one of the inmates has likely forgotten or ever will. Hutcheson explains to the class the difference between capitalism and socialism and answers the vexing questions about our socio-political-economic system that is so confusing to many. This book is also contained within Why America is Great. It is a short and easy read and is highly recommended for high school and college students. Visit Amazon.
